These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the SecondHandLaptop24 website and our doorstep laptop buyback services. By using our website, contacting us, or selling a laptop to us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Our Service

SecondHandLaptop24 buys used and second-hand laptops directly from customers. You can request a quote by sharing photos and details of your laptop through our website, phone, or WhatsApp. If you accept our quote, we will arrange doorstep pickup and payment as described below.

2. Quotes & Pricing

Any price we provide based on photos, descriptions, or phone/WhatsApp conversation is an estimate only. The final price is confirmed after our team physically inspects the laptop at the time of pickup. If the laptop’s condition differs from what was described (for example, undisclosed damage, missing accessories, or incorrect specifications), we reserve the right to revise the quote. You may accept the revised price or decline the sale at that point, with no obligation on either side.

3. Pickup & Scheduling

Once you accept a quote, we will schedule a pickup time convenient for you. You agree to provide accurate contact and address details and to be reasonably available at the agreed time. If you need to reschedule or cancel a pickup, please inform us as early as possible. We reserve the right to reschedule pickups due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, logistics issues) and will notify you promptly if this happens.

4. Payment

Payment is made at the time of pickup, once the laptop has been inspected and the final price agreed upon. We accept payment via [cash / UPI / bank transfer — update as applicable]. Payment is made directly to the person handing over the device unless otherwise agreed in advance.

5. Ownership & Eligibility to Sell

By offering a laptop for sale, you confirm that you are the lawful owner of the device or are authorized by the owner to sell it, and that the laptop is not stolen, pledged, financed, or otherwise encumbered. We may request basic identification or proof of ownership at pickup and reserve the right to decline a purchase if ownership cannot be reasonably verified.

6. Your Data & Accounts

You are responsible for backing up, removing, and signing out of all personal files, accounts, and data (including cloud services, email, and passwords) from your laptop before pickup. While we take reasonable steps to wipe devices before resale, we are not responsible for data left on a device at the time of sale.

7. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse to purchase any laptop at our sole discretion — for example, if we suspect the device is stolen or counterfeit, if the seller cannot provide reasonable proof of ownership, or if the device poses a safety risk (e.g., battery damage or hazardous condition).

8. Cancellations

You may cancel a pickup request at any time before the transaction is completed, with no penalty. Once a laptop has been inspected, a price agreed upon, and payment made, the sale is considered final and cannot be reversed.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SecondHandLaptop24 is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or services, including disputes over valuation or data left on a device. Our maximum liability in connection with any transaction is limited to the amount paid to you for that laptop.

10. Website Use

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and not to submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information when requesting a quote. All content on this website (text, images, and branding) is the property of SecondHandLaptop24 unless otherwise noted, and may not be copied or reused without permission.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or applicable law. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
